Toronto, June 21, 2016: The Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA), the premier awards program for the medtech industry announced the 2016 winners on Tuesday, June 14th at a special ceremony at the MD&M East conference and exposition in New York City.
This was the 18th Edition of the Award Program that recognizes significant achievement in medical product design and engineering that improve the quality of healthcare delivery and accessibility.
The Award program honored innovation across 9 categories. MolecuLight was one of the finalists for the Diagnostic Product and Systems category. The company’s device, its first product, MolecuLight i:XTM ranked in the top 6 in that category.
