MolecuLight attended the Military Health System Research Symposium

MolecuLight attended the Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) in Fort Lauderdale, FL which took place on August 18-21, 2014.

MHSRS is an annual event which provides an academic setting for new scientific knowledge arising from military specific research. This was a historic moment for MolecuLight to present their investigational handheld, portable device which instantaneously visualizes bacteria using autofluorescence imaging.

Dr Ralph DaCosta, Founder, Director and Chief Scientific Officer of MolecuLight Inc. was a plenary speaker on Thursday, August 21st and presented to a captivated audience: “A handheld fluorescence imaging device for assessment of chronic wound infections: Pilot clinical results.” The presentation was extremely well received with several clinicians/researchers looking to learn more.

The attendees were also able to learn more about the technology and potential applications in wound care during the poster session: ‘Pilot clinical evaluation of surgical site infections with a novel handheld fluorescence imaging device.’
